Brooklyn Creative Arts Lab
A partnership with BRIC and Irondale Ensemble Project, Brooklyn Creative Arts Lab is an extraordinary multi-disciplinary summer arts experience designed to develop young creative minds ages 10-13.
Held in state-of-the-art facilities, and working under the direction of professional teaching artists, participants learn and explore the techniques and aesthetics of Visual Art, Media, Theater, and Dance, while being exposed to contemporary examples of artistic expressions. Over three weeks, teaching artists introduce youth participants to the fundamentals of each different art form, and expose them to contemporary examples of artistic expressions. Students select two disciplines to focus on, and all disciplines will work together to share ideas, collaborate, create, rehearse and present an integrated stage performance.
The program is capped at 36 participants.
18 scholarships are available for youth in need.
