Jessica Cipriano is a native of Connecticut, and holds a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. In 2013 she completed a fellowship with Lincoln Center Education, where she was introduced to aesthetic education and premiered her first choreographic work in New York City, So Our Habits As Shadows. Jessica is a member of Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre, and has also danced for Balasole Dance Company and Winston Salem Festival Ballet. She is passionate about sharing dance with young children and currently teaches at Dancewave and Cynthia King Dance Studio. Jessica also conducts residencies and master classes in public schools throughout Brooklyn through D-wave in Motion. Having previously worked as a teaching assistant at the Mark Morris Dance Center, she is very happy to now join the faculty!
