Mariah Maloney

Mariah Maloney, Artistic Director of Mariah Maloney Dance, is originally from Homer, Alaska. She has performed around the world as a featured soloist and ensemble dancer with the Trisha Brown Dance Company.  Mariah Maloney Dance is invited to perform, teach and create new work in New York, throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.  In New York, Mariah Maloney Dance is produced at venues including La MaMa, The Kitchen, Judson Church, and Danspace Project. Mariah Maloney Dance presented at the prestigious Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out and recent tour destinations include Buenos Aires, Argentina; Salem, Massachusetts; and Homer, Alaska. In New York, Mariah enjoys teaching at Gibney Dance, the Mark Morris Dance Center, and Peridance Capezio Center. Recent international engagements include Theatre Academie Helsinki, Helsinki Finland; Danza Teatro, Santiago, Chile; DanceHouse Dance Ireland, Dublin, Ireland. Mariah serves as Associate Professor and Interim Graduate Director at The College at Brockport and is located in New York City. Maloney earned a BFA from Purchase College and an MFA from Hollins/ADF.

The mission of the Mark Morris Dance Group is to develop, promote, and sustain dance, music, and opera productions by Mark Morris and to serve as a cultural resource to engage and enrich the community.
