Oscar Santana studied at the Ballet School of Teatro Municipal de Santiago in Chile during which he was a guest dancer with the Ballet de Santiago and the Santiago Chamber Ballet. After completing his studies, Oscar moved to Ecuador where he was invited to join the National Ballet of Ecuador and the National Dance Company of Ecuador. During this time, Oscar participated in workshops, exchanges and festivals in China, France, Portugal, Chile, Venezuela, Mexico and Spain. While in Ecuador, Oscar in collaboration with Lorena Delgado created the first contemporary dance festival in the country, “IN VITRO” and developed his own movement style Cuatro Pies/Four Feet. Oscar has taught Cuatro Pies/Four Feet in Ecuador and New York City.
