NEW - EPISODE 2: THE ART OF MARK MORRIS
In 2008, the Mark Morris Dance Group, in association with Brooklyn Independent Television (BIT), a division of BCAT-ARTS/MEDIA, presented the first in a series of television episodes to air in Brooklyn and on the internet.
BIT is available in Brooklyn, NY, on Channel 56 (Time Warner) and Channel 69 (Cablevision), and is simultaneously transmitted LIVE on the internet.
EPISODE 1: A DANCE CENTER IN BROOKLYN (Original Air Date: July 29, 2008)
Think you know everything that goes on at the Mark Morris Dance Center? See what's been happening at 3 Lafayette Ave, in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, since the Dance Group's first permanent home opened its doors in 2001.
Below is a preview clip from Episode 1. The clip includes the program's opening graphics (created in collaboration with the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts by a graphics design student from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) and the first of 5 sections on activities at the Dance Center: MMDG's partnership with the New York City Housing Authority.

MARK MORRIS RADIO SHOWS
Mark Morris created his first exclusive radio show in 2006, presented by New York City's NPR-affiliate, WNYC.

In 2007, Mr. Morris was invited to return to WNYC and hosted a week-long series, Mark Morris: What's In His Ears. The shows (along with their play lists) are permanently available via the WNYC website.
In 2009, as part of a guest Lectureship at Centenary College, Mr. Morris returned to the air waves to host a weekly, themed series entitled Music I Want You To Hear, taking selections from his home library to share with listeners.
