PROGRAM
Daily classes include Modern Dance, Ballet, Pilates and MMDG Repertory. Additional activities may include dancer panel discussions, injury prevention seminars, and music workshops. Each session concludes in an informal repertory performance.

PREREQUISITES
Dancers must be 16 years of age or older and should be at a pre-professional level in both Modern Dance and Ballet.

AUDITION CLASSES
Dancers will be asked to submit a video excerpt as part of the application. In lieu of submitting a video, dancers may attend one of the following audition classes:

COST
Early Application Rate (on or before April 20, 2012): $325/one week; $600/two weeks
Final Application Rate (on or before May 18, 2012): $350/one week; $650/two weeks
Note: The two week rates only apply to the Brooklyn intensive.

HOUSING
Housing is available in both locations, but is NOT INCLUDED as part of tuition. Dancers should indicate their interest in housing information on the application and will be contacted with more details if/when accepted into the program.

HOW TO APPLY
1) Send application form and cover letter via mail to:

2) Attend an audition in Berkeley, Boston, Seattle, Brooklyn, Washington DC, Urbana or San Diego OR send video excerpt (5 minutes or less) via mail or e-mail an online video link to sarah@mmdg.org. Videos/DVD submissions should include two centre work combinations, one in modern dance and on in ballet. Performance videos are accepted as long as the dancer is clearly identifiable. When sending a video via You Tube please mark the video as public to ensure viewing access.

PLEASE NOTE: Your credit card will not be processed and your space will not be reserved until your complete application packet has been reviewed. Dancers accepted into the intensive will be notified via e-mail. Once accepted, to guarantee a spot in the program students must register and pay in full online OR by completing payment info on the application form.
