Welcome to The School at the Mark Morris Dance Center.
The School has always reflected the spirit of the Mark Morris Dance Group in its celebration of dance and music. Believing that the study of various dance forms and music is essential to a child's education and development, we are pleased to add a children's music appreciation course to our schedule this year. Taught by one of our resident accompanists, composer William Wade, this class will introduce students to music through singing and listening as well as drumming.

Over the last six years, enrollment in our classes has grown. Offering a diverse range of classes for all ages, we strive to continue to be a center of creative activity for children, community residents, and professional dancers.
