Do I need to register in advance for adult classes?
Pre-registration is required for adult workshops, but you do not not need to register in advance for our weekly classes.
How much are classes?
$12 / single class
$110 / ten-class card (valid for four months)
Do I need to have any dance experience to take the adult classes?
No dance experience is necessary. A wide range of classes is offered for all levels of experience - from beginning to professional.
If I am a "beginner," can I attend an "Open Level" class?
Students of all experience levels are welcome to take "Open Level" classes.
Do you have any classes for seniors?
All adults, regardless of age, are welcome to take our classes.
If I purchase a class card, can I share the classes with someone else?
Class cards may not be shared.
Can I pay for a single class with a debit/credit card?
We accept cash or check for single class payment.
How can I purchase a class card?
Class cards may be purchased with a debit/credit card, check, or cash.
What should adults wear to class?
We suggest adults dress comfortably, but street clothes may not be worn.
What shoes do I need?
Most classes are taken barefoot. Ballet shoes are suggested for ballet classes. Tap shoes are required for tap dance class. Non-marking rubber soles are required for Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout.
Is parking available around the Mark Morris Dance Center?
Street parking is limited. Paid parking lots are available immediately next door and across the street from the Dance Center.
