No.

Children and teen classes meet once a week for the duration of a semester.
When do classes start and end?
Classes are offered on a semester basis. The Fall Semester runs from September 10, 2007 – January 28, 2008 and the Spring Semester runs from January 29 – June 7, 2008. The first and last class depend on their regularly scheduled class day. For instance, the semester your child is enrolled in may start on Monday, September 10th but if you are signed up for a Saturday class, your first day of class will be September 15. Class calendars will be distributed for each class.
Is parking available around the Mark Morris Dance Center?
Street parking is limited. Paid parking lots are available immediately next door and across the street from the Dance Center.
If my child misses a class, can it be made up on a different day?
We do not offer make-up classes.
Can we observe a class before we sign up?
Parents and children are welcome to observe classes from studio windows. We also periodically offer open houses with free dance classes for all ages.
Can I stay with my child in class?
Parents are welcome to wait for their children in the lounge. Parents are invited to join the class on specific dates and times for parent observation. There is one parent observation scheduled each semester.
Do we offer scholarships or assistance with tuition?
Although we do not offer a scholarship program, a tuition payment plan can be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Does my child have to audition to join the School at the Mark Morris Dance Center?
Children do not have to audition to join classes. We do offer a Student Company class that is offered by invitation only.
When should I drop off my child?
Children should arrive at least 15 minutes early so that classes can start on time.
What should my child wear?
Students should wear appropriate clothing: solid-colored leotards and tights or white tee shirt and leggings. No jeans or street clothes, please.
What shoes does my child need?
All classes are taken without shoes, with the exception of ballet and tap classes which require ballet slippers and tap shoes.
Do you have recitals?
We do not have recitals but each semester there will be open classes that parents are welcome to attend.
