For the MMDG staging (11/82), Morris meshed this dance with the 1981 Etudes Modernes in knee socks and pleated skirts, and the men of Jr. High in chinos and sneakers, the result looked something like a junior-high student body.

The second section, "test," is performed in silence. In the third section, "gym," three young men do athletic exercises while a fourth (Morris) tries to do the same, gets things wrong, and finally ends up dancing instead.
