MMDG Teaching Artist Summer Seminar

The Mark Morris Dance Group’s Teaching Artist Summer Seminar is a two-day workshop that provides new skills and perspectives for teaching artists at any stage of their career.

The TA Summer Seminar will focus on three Early Childhood training modules:

  • Parent & Toddler Movement
  • Creative Dance
  • Fundamentals of Technique

Each will include:

  • Music and Rhythm, using both live and recorded music
  • How to cultivate professional and cultural resources in any community
  • How to authentically provide an inclusive learning environment through differentiation practices.

MMDG’s TA Summer Seminar is built on Mark Morris’ vision for dance education and is led by Mark Morris Dance Group company members, principal teaching artists, and the Education team.

$150 / Teaching Artist

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS:

If you wish to cancel after enrolling in the Teaching Artist Summer Seminar, you will receive a full refund, less a $25 non-refundable registration fee. Participants who choose to cancel on or after July 1, 2019 are not eligible for a refund. To cancel, participants must contact class@mmdg.org.

STUDENT REGISTRATIONS:
All participants registered under the Student Rate should be prepared to present a Student ID when signing in at the Mark Morris Dance Center on the first day of the program.
