COVID-19 Food Relief

As part of our continued commitment to serve our community, we have partnered with Dance/NYC and a coalition of cultural organizations to temporarily use the Mark Morris Dance Center as a meal distribution site for residents and workers—including dance workers — in Brooklyn affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting Monday, April 20, volunteer staff will provide free, pre-packaged meals prepared by World Central Kitchen, the non-profit organization founded by internationally renowned chef José Andrés, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Where:

Mark Morris Dance Center

3 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217

When:

Monday – Friday

12:30 – 2:30 p.m. (or until meals are no longer available)

Please note: Friday, May 29 will be our last distribution day. Starting Monday, June 1, World Central Kitchen meals will be distributed at 574 Madison Street, Brooklyn, Monday-Friday starting at noon.

Artist Resources

As a primary home for dance and music in Brooklyn, the health and safety of our community members is a top priority. We’ve compiled a Resource List aimed at supporting, engaging, and advocating for our artist community. We will update this list as new information and opportunities become available.
