Rachel Lovett*

Rachel Lovett is a current company member with Connecticut Ballet and freelance dancer. She began dancing at age seven with Pacific Ballet Academy in California, continuing her training at schools including the Joffrey Academy in Chicago, the New Ballet Studio Company, and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York, as well as summers at American Ballet Theatre, Gallim, and the Bolshoi Ballet in Russia. Rachel has performed with companies including Connecticut Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet, Cocodaco Dance Company, and Natasha Carlitz Dance Ensemble, and has performed for films including Aviva! (2020), Sister Carrie (2018), and Nocturne (2018). She has been a guest artist for Alameda Civic Ballet, Western Ballet, Santa Clara Ballet, and for the Marc Jacobs Fall 2020 Runway. Her repertoire includes works by choreographers including Wayne McGregor, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Gerald Arpino, George Balanchine, August Bournonville, and Jerome Robbins. Rachel is also a professional pointe shoe fitter and specialist.
