Leilani Douglas (she/her) holds a MA in Performance Studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she was awarded the Leigh George Odom Memorial Award for Distinguished MA Student, and a BA from the University of Chicago (Phi Beta Kappa). She is passionate about development as a mode of arts advocacy. In her work as a freelance development professional, she has supported artist-led nonprofits in securing public and private funding and strengthening their administrative systems. Leilani is also passionate about dance, music, and vocal performance. As such, she could not be more excited to continue her career as an arts professional at the Mark Morris Dance Group.
