Marc di Minno
Marc di Minno is a musician who communicates a sense of wonder in his playing of piano works by the great musicians of the past as well as in his improvisations. He has been fortunate enough to study with great teachers (two of which are able to trace pedagogical lineage to Beethoven) and perform with artists as accomplished as Renée Fleming (The Metropolitan Opera) and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. He has also explored visual art and created fundraising concerts such as Music for Kenya (which raised funds for water purification) and projects like Dance, Music, and Kids (which brought together artists from a wide range of disciplines). In the world of dance, he has collaborated in classes taught by artists such as Mark Morris, Gelsey Kirkland, Allegra Kent, and Stanley Williams (School of American Ballet). Current project: in development!
