Rosetta (Rose) Fair began her dance training at the Joel Hall Dancers & Center in Chicago, where she intensively studied jazz, ballet, and modern (based in Horton and Graham). Other studies include the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, Luigi Jazz Dance Centre, The Academy of Music & Movement, Hyde Park School of Dance, the Katherine Dunham Technique Seminar, and Deeply Rooted Community Ensemble program. Fair enthusiastically performed with Joel Hall Dancers, the Chicago-based urban jazz company, for seven years, where she embraced Joel Hall’s unique urban jazz style and recently became a certified instructor for the Joel Hall Floor Barre Method ©. Fair has also performed for Duwane Pendarvis & Company Dance Theatre, Tamboula Ethnic Dance Company, and Khalidah Kali’s North African Dance Experience, in addition to various projects. Fair LOVES teaching children and has taught in many studios and schools. She absolutely enjoys sharing the gift of dance with all.
