Rosetta (Rose) Fair began her dance training at the Joel Hall Dancers & Center. She performed with the Joel Hall Dancers, a Chicago-based urban jazz company, for seven years, where she embraced Joel Hall’s unique urban jazz style. She is currently enrolled in the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance Teacher Training Program, where she is also a 2021 Two-Year Certificate Program graduate. Her other dance studies include the Luigi Jazz Dance Centre, Academy of Music and Movement, Hyde Park School of Dance, Katherine Dunham Technique Seminar, and the Deeply Rooted Community Ensemble program. In addition to various freelance projects, she has also performed for Duwane Pendarvis & Company Dance Theatre, Tamboula Ethnic Dance Company (Haitian Folklore), and Khalidah Kali’s North African Bellydance Dance Experience. She is a certified instructor for the Joel Hall Floor Barre Method© and has taught across studios and community outreach settings. Rose LOVES sharing the gift of dance.
