September was full of celebration!
We kicked off the Dance Center’s 20th Anniversary year and premiered Water at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Friends of MMDG and families from Brooklyn and beyond joined us in celebrating 20 Years in Brooklyn with classes and performances at the Dance Center’s 20th Anniversary kick-off event on September 18.
We premiered a new dance at Brooklyn Bridge Park on Sept. 25
Audiences gathered and park visitors paused to watch a performance of Words and Quad, and to see the world premiere of Water in front of a glimmering Manhattan backdrop.
On Water —
“As different groupings of dancers come and go, marking the hornpipe music with some maritime motions, rumpling Baroque grace with hip bumps and air kisses, other dancers pass in front or behind. It’s a delightful, teeming world that leaves you wanting more.” Brian Siebert, The New York Times
Attend a special anniversary event on October 12, join a worldwide online class, or practice at home.
