SharedSpace provides an opportunity for emerging dancers and choreographers of all genres to present a work in progress at an in-studio, informal showing open to the public, followed by feedback and conversation guided by an established artist in the dance field.
SharedSpace’s goal is to bring an informal, accessible, and reliable platform that encourages emerging choreographers to present in-progress work to a diverse audience. Selected applicants will be paid a stipend of $300 for participation. Artists will also have access to a total of 50 hours of rehearsal space.
Join us on Friday, November 15th at 7pm for the fall SharedSpace Showing: a night of dance and conversation! Moderated by Winston Dynamite Brown.
Works from artists Alicia Raquel Morales, Claude CJ Johnson, Morgan Gregory, and Sasha Marlan-Librett.
