Mark Morris Dance Group @ Jacob’s Pillow, 8/24/11

Tresca Weinstein for Times Union

It was a sight to bring a tear to the eye. Mark Morris, in a yellow button-down shirt and plaid shorts, taking a bow after his company’s performance at Jacob’s Pillow Wednesday evening, first with his dancers and then alone in the center of the stage. It’s been 30 years since Morris burst onto the scene with his wavy locks and exuberant persona; three decades on, he carries more weight and less hair, but his work remains forever young.
