"Lucky Charms" explodes onstage like fireworks on the Fourth of July, but it is at heart an affectionate, knowing celebration of its score. The music, created by Jacques Ibert, is part pastiche, part canny craft and part cheerful bombast, sounding one moment like Debussy in a dark mood and the next like a hyperexuberant John Philip Sousa.
