
Andrea Murillo
Andrea Murillo is a creator, performer, and teacher currently living in New York City. Shortly after graduating from New World School of the Arts, she began touring with the Martha Graham Dance Company in International and national tours. During that time, she performed solo roles such as Lamentation (1930), Serenata Morisca (1916), Embattled Garden (1958), and Steps in the Street (1936). Later, in 2012, she transitioned to New York’s Sleep No More and played numerous leading roles, including Lady Macbeth. She has also performed with the Istituto Nazionale del Dramma Antico in Sicily for their productions of Le Baccanti and Prometeo. She is a founding member of 3AM Theatre and is currently continuing her acting studies with the Terry Knickerbocker Studio.

Intro to Ballet I | Summer II Series
For absolute beginners with relatively little experience, this series is an introduction to ballet fundamentals. It will consist of developing skills at the barre and center, as well as traveling exercise across the floor. You will gain a better understanding of terminology, alignment, balance, artistry, sequencing, and space. This series is a perfect place to begin your education of the fundamentals of ballet in a non-competitive, fun environment with musical live accompaniment.
