Powers continued her ballet training and discovered her love for American modern dance. After graduating, she worked for multiple dance companies including Albany Berkshire Ballet, Suffolk Ballet, Virginia Ballet Theater, and Florida Dance Theater alongside acting with the First Landing Foundation and appearing in independent films. From 2008-2019, she danced as the lead female soloist for the Elbert Watson Dance Company in Virginia. In the fall of 2019, she moved to Athens, Greece for dancing and teaching opportunities with the National Greek Ballet, National Kuwait Theatre, and Athens Dance Center. Due to global complications, she decided to move to New York City in the early spring of 2021 and is excited to be part of the NYC dance community.
