Los Angeles native Anthony Pearlman is a pianist, composer, and improviser currently living in New York City. Facilitated by his undergraduate studies at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, he has had the fortune of being guided by master musicians Reggie Workman and Andrew Cyrille. Now, four years post-graduation, he regularly plays at notable venues locally and abroad. This invaluable experience and exposure has led to Pearlman’s clear crafted voice and artistic vision centered around patience, space, surprise, tradition, and developmental improvisation that sets him apart from others within his field.
