Donor Advised Funds

What is a Donor Advised Fund and what are the advantages of giving in this way?

Donor Advised Funds (DAF) programs are tax-efficient funds, set up through your financial institution or community foundation, which offer individuals, families, and businesses unmatched support to maximize charitable giving. You may gain an immediate tax deduction and then have the opportunity to recommend grants at your own pace across time.

The Mark Morris Dance Group partners with Donor Advised Fund (DAF) sponsor organizations large and small and their philanthropic service teams in the United States. We cannot set up a fund for you, but we are eligible to receive grants through any fund you create with a sponsor organization.

Clients of BNY Mellon, Fidelity Charitable, and Schwab Charitable: Make a donor advised fund gift easily through the DAF Direct window at the bottom of this page.

Clients of Brooklyn Org: Reach out to your donor advised fund advisor here.

Clients of other Donor Advised Fund institutions: Please contact your financial advisor who can guide you through making a gift.
