Mark Morris Dance Group's SharedSpace program consists of an in-studio, informal public showing followed by a facilitated feedback conversation guided by an established artist in the field of dance.
Launching January 2017, SharedSpace's goal is to bring an informal, accessible, and reliable platform that encourages emerging choreographers to present in-progress work to a diverse audience.
Participants will be selected by random lottery from the pool of applicants one month prior to the SharedSpace public event. These selected participants will also have access to the Subidized Studio Rental Rate of $10/hour ($15/hour for the James and Martha Duffy Performance Space), unlimited for the month leading up to the event.
