For professional dancers and dance students 18+

ALL attendees must send a link to a one minute video, regardless of previous attendance. Share your passion to move and your skills. Please send video link to office@leesaar.com.
Once accepted into the intensive you will be invited to register.

The daily schedule will include classes in:

Gaga/dancers: 
This class is very similar to the daily class that is given to the Batsheva Dance Company dancers.

Ohad Naharin's Repertory:
Learn excerpts of Ohad Naharin’s choreographic works from the company’s dancers and teachers. In this class, dancers apply their training in Gaga to the repertory.

Gaga methodics:
This class will enable dancers to work in a different mode and study the most fundamental elements of Gaga in a deeper way.

Sample Daily Schedule (subject to change):
Gaga/dancers class 10:00am - 11:15am
Repertory 11:30am - 1:00pm 
Lunch break 1:00 - 2:00pm
Repertory 2:00pm - 3:15pm
Methodics 3:30pm - 4:45pm

Tuition: $650 (this includes a non-refundable $150 registration fee)


Discount: Dancers who have attended a previous Gaga Intensive in Tel Aviv, New York, Los Angeles, Belgium, Barcelona, or Italy (Torino) will receive a 15% discount on the tuition, bringing the total cost of the program to $552.50.


Cancellation Policy: If you cancel before July 7, 2017, you will receive a full refund minus the $150 non-refundable registration fee.
If you cancel after July 7, there is no refund unless we can fill your spot in the intensive, in which case you will receive a full refund minus the $150 non-refundable registration fee.

Bobbi Jene Smith

Bobbi Jene Smith was born in Centerville, Iowa. From 2005–2014 she was a member of the Batsheva Dance Company and rejoined in 2017. She is an alumnus of the Juilliard School, North Carolina School of the Arts, and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. Her choreography and solo work has been presented by The Batsheva Dance Company, PS122, The Israel Museum, Luminato Festival, The Wild Project, Machol Shalem, Sacramento Ballet, The CCA, The San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, New York University, and The Juilliard School. Bobbi is a certified GAGA teacher and has taught Ohad Naharin’s repertory in schools and universities around the world. 

Billy Barry

Billy Barry was born in 1989 in New York. He graduated from Juilliard in 2011. Performed with Gallim Dance and Keigwin + CO. Joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2011 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.

Bret Easterling

Bret Easterling was born in the US in 1988. He studied at the Juilliard School where he graduated with Hector Zaraspe Prize in 2010. While being involved in many school projects, he also performed with Andrea Miller's Gallim Dance. Bret joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2010 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
