SharedSpace: For Works in Progress

SharedSpace: For Works in Progress

SharedSpace is a residency program that culminates with an informal public showing followed by a facilitated reflection, guided by an established artist in the dance field.  This unique opportunity is for emerging and mid-career choreographers of all genres to present a work in progress at the Mark Morris Dance Center.

Join us on Thursday, May 7th at 7pm for a night of dance and conversation! Works by Chloe London, Hans Enrique, and Mizuho Kappa. This showing will be facilitated by Jordan Lloyd.

The Mark Morris Dance Center supports New York’s dance ecosystem through affordable rentals and subsidized artist programs providing studio access, resources and sharing opportunities.

This program is supported in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature. We also thank the Marta Heflin Foundation and the Galanthus Foundation Trust for their support of SharedSpace.
