Experience the “witty and brilliant” (The Washington Post) The Look of Love, set to the timeless hits of Burt Bacharach, and the “truly joyous, celebratory” (The Telegraph) Pepperland, a tribute to The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. And don’t miss the chance to see crowd favorites and rare gems from Mark’s repertory, including Pacific, Grand Duo, Rock of Ages, and Going Away Party, as well as The Hard Nut making its comeback to BAM in Brooklyn.

We’re partnering with Breakthru to redefine workplace wellness
We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Breakthru, a digital integrative wellness platform that offers 2-minute movement and breathing breaks designed to enhance health and cognitive clarity during the workday. This collaboration draws on Mark’s choreographic expertise to enrich Breakthru’s extensive library of microbreaks, tackling the global epidemic of sedentary behavior and workplace burnout.
Breakthru is launching eight new breaks based on well-known works by Mark Morris. Company members went to a studio where their movements were motion captured and transformed into Breakthru’s signature breaks.
Below is one of the movement breaks based on a section of The Look of Love:

October 10th is Donor Advised Funds Day!
The first DAF Day is happening on October 10, 2024 with the goal of maximizing the use of donor advised funds (DAFs) through a shared movement to increase awareness of the value of DAFs, which are proven to nearly double one’s annual support to the causes and organizations they care about.

Behind the Scenes with the Company Summer Virtual Rehearsal
In this new section of our newsletter, we’re giving you a glimpse into some of the exclusive content accessible only to our members.
On July 29, we hosted a Summer Virtual Rehearsal and live Q&A with the Mark Morris Dance Group. The company rehearsed Italian Concerto, a work choreographed by Mark Morris in 2007, and then answered members’ questions. Guests enjoyed an insightful glimpse into the process of remounting this wonderful repertory in preparation for the company’s August 1 performance at Caramoor in Katonah, NY.
