On the Membership Dashboard: Behind the scenes with Mark Morris Dance Group
On January 12, 2026, we hosted our Winter Virtual Rehearsal and live Q&A with the Mark Morris Dance Group. The company rehearsed sections from Mark Morris’ MOON (2025) in advance of its West Coast premiere. Following the rehearsal and coaching session, Rehearsal Director Elisa Clark and the dancers answered viewers’ questions. Guests enjoyed an insightful glimpse into the process of preparing this new work for the company’s 45th Anniversary Season performances.

We’re excited to share that we’re hosting three Black History Month class offerings at the Mark Morris Dance Center.

This month’s offerings include:
- A.I.M by Kyle Abraham Company Class
- Litefeet 101 with Chrybaby Cozie
- House with Reyna Nuñez
We’re also excited to feature live music with DJ Fly TY in our Litefeet 101 and Intro to Lindy Hop classes, honoring the cultural roots of these forms and deepening the experience for our community.
