Nicholas Ma
Nicholas Ma (he/him) is a writer, director and producer based in New York City. Most recently, he produced “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” a documentary on Fred Rogers, which became the all-time highest grossing bio-documentary and for which he won the Producers Guild Award. He is currently in development on several other documentary projects including a series on diplomacy, and was a finalist for the Sloane Prize for a scripted feature. Before shifting to film full time in 2013, he worked at McKinsey & Company as well as for then-Senator John Kerry on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He is a graduate of Harvard College.
