Jessica Lassiter is an orthopedic physical therapist and an athletic trainer with a strong background in manual therapy. She has worked with a variety of performing artists, with a particular focus on dance and dance rehabilitation. She graduated with her Doctorate in physical therapy from Indiana University and her Master’s in Dance Science from Laban in London, UK.  Prior to that, she earned separate undergraduate degrees at Indiana University in Ballet and Athletic Training/Kinesiology.  Jessica became a nationally Certified Athletic Trainer in 2004 and a licensed physical therapist in 2008. She currently works backstage at a number of Broadway shows and at Juilliard, as well as seeing private patients at the Mark Morris Dance Center.  She is currently pursuing her manual therapy certification through NAIOMT, is a certified Graston soft tissue mobilization technique provider, and an APTA credentialed Certified Orthopedic Specialist.
