Texas State University’s Department of Philosophy and the Division of Dance will host dance performances with live musical accompaniment and internationally renowned scholars from the fields of aesthetics, philosophy of art, choreography and multi-media theory. The symposium will also include panel discussions featuring scholars and students in philosophy and dance. This is a unique cultural event bringing together celebrated dance groups, scholars, and students; all involved with philosophical inquiry. All of the events will be open to the public.
