Deniz Erkan Sancak began dancing with the National Team of Turkiye for Latin American Dance sports, represented his country in World Championships for several years around the world and went on to receive full-Scholarships to study dance at Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College, SUNY. Deniz worked with Opera Ballet Ankara, Tatbikat Theatre, Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, Wonderbound (Ballet Nouveau Colorado) and Korhan Başaran; and currently works with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet (Deborah Colker’s “Ainadamar”), Stephen Petronio Company, Yoshiko Chuma, Douglas Dunn, Christopher Williams, Ellen Cornfield, Emily Pope, and Liz Gerring.
