Classes taught by A.I.M emphasize four of the company’s core movement values: exploration, musicality, abandonment, and intuition. The opening warm-up sequence focuses on the fluidity of the spine, articulation, and core body strengthening; and then builds up to challenging, creative and invigorating phrase work. Participants experience a personalized postmodern movement vocabulary full of intricate gestures and signature A.I.M movement. 

MYKIAH GOREE (he/him), a native of Houston, Texas, trained at Houston Ballet Academy and Kinder HSPVA before continuing his studies through summer programs with Ballet Austin, BodyTraffic, and Peridance and later attending The Juilliard School. At Juilliard, he performed works by Tiler Peck, Rena Butler, Jamar Roberts, Ohad Naharin, Trisha Brown, Camille A. Brown, and Omar Román De Jesús, and his choreography was selected for Juilliard’s Choreographers and Composers (2022), MOVE|NYC|’s Summer Intensive, Juilliard’s Senior Production (2024), and Juilliard’s Choreographic Honors. A certified Pilates instructor and former member of the Juilliard Black Student Union board, Goree joined A.I.M by Kyle Abraham in 2024
