Richard Glover

Richard Glover is from Brooklyn, New York, where he began his training at the Brooklyn Music School. He then went on to study at Dance Theatre of Harlem followed by The School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center, both on full scholarship. Glover began his professional career at Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, where he danced in The Four Temperaments, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Serenade. He danced with Colorado Ballet in Denver, performing in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Giselle, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dracula, and a world premiere by choreographer Rennie Harris. He also danced with several companies in London, including performances at English National Ballet and The Royal Opera House. He recently appeared in a music video for music artist Asgeir, choreographed by Celia Rowlson-Hall. Along with performing freelance, Glover teaches, coaches, and choreographs at various schools in the tri-state area. His classes focus on clean technique, moving efficiently, musicality, and style. He strongly believes that the studio should feel like an open forum to experiment, challenge, learn, and, most importantly, enjoy!
