Savannah Jade Dobbs*
Savannah Jade Dobbs is an emerging early-career performing artist from Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds a B.F.A. in contemporary dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and has been studying the performing arts for nineteen years. Her training is diverse and includes extensive study in various disciplines, most notably ballet, Countertechnique, Cunningham, Limón, floorwork, release technique, Gaga, and contact improvisation, among many others. She is a registered yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance and has received a certification in Pilates mat from In Balance Pilates. She has worked with choreographers such as Celia Rowlson-Hall, Ravid Abarbanel, Dafi Altabeb, Juel Lane, Ja’ Malik, Larry Keigwin, and Yin Yue, performing locally and nationally in various projects. In her free time, she enjoys painting, filmmaking, traveling, cooking, and volunteering. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, pursuing a career in dance and film.
