Ian Miller is a music director, pianist, singer, arranger, and composer originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Broadway credits: Into the Woods (synthesizer), West Side Story, The Music Man, Wicked (rehearsal pianist). Ian music directed Ma Yi Theater Company’s world premiere production of Felix Starro off-Broadway and orchestrated the East West Players’ world premiere of On This Side of the World in Los Angeles this past spring. Ian is on faculty at the Juilliard Dance Division, and he holds a degree in music from Yale University. He is also the music director for AHRC’s Our Broadway, a musical theater program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities around New York City. As a songwriter, Ian participated in the 2020 cohort of the Johnny Mercer Songwriters’ Project, and he is set to release a new album of original music in the fall.
