
Breanna Myers
Breanna Myers (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary dancer, choreographer, teaching artist, and licensed mental health therapist currently residing in New York City. Breanna‘s professional experiences include choreographing and directing The Neighbors, a genre-expansive dance company rooted in hip hop, street, and club styles from 2018-2023, teaching on faculty at the first national non-profit dance convention, Embody Dance Conference, and dancing for numerous artists and professional companies in NYC and the surrounding area. As a therapist, Breanna holds a master’s in social work from New York University. Breanna specializes in the treatment of anxiety and OCD and holds an additional specialization in trauma, having previously worked with children and adolescents presenting with symptoms of PTSD and families struggling to cope after surviving domestic violence.
Breanna comes into this work because of her love of serving young people and her desire to break down barriers to access for those from marginalized communities. As an artist, Breanna is committed to creating spaces that prioritize dancer wellness and using art as a vehicle for change.
