Chris Heller teaches dance and drama all over New York City. Her choreography has been performed at Gibney Dance, Aaron Davis Hall, and Theater for the New City. She has performed her own work as well as choreography by Katiti King, Jana Hicks, Max Stone, and with Bliss Dance Theatre. Chris is a faculty member at Mark Morris Dance Center, a member of the New Dance Collective, and a choreographer for ZCO Dance Project. She was a faculty member at Dance New Amsterdam and Gibney Dance and served as an instructor in Lynn Simonson’s Method of Teacher Training course. Chris is also the Director of the Learning English and Drama Project at Lincoln Center Theater and had previously worked for Brooklyn Children’s Theatre, ArtsConnection, Queens Theatre, and Marquis Studios. Chris has an M.A. in Educational Theatre from New York University.
