Chris Heller teaches dance and drama all over New York City. She has performed her own work as well as choreography by Katiti King, Jana Hicks, and Max Stone, and with Bliss Dance Theatre. She is on the faculty at Gibney Dance and was on the faculty at Dance New Amsterdam from 2006 to 2013, where she also choreographed for Performance Project and served as an instructor in Lynn Simonson’s Method of Teacher Training course. She was the Artistic Director of Brooklyn Children’s Theatre, where she directed, choreographed, and wrote original musicals for children ages 6 to 18 and has worked as a teaching artist at Arts Connection and Poly Prep Performing Arts Camp.
