Ellen Offner

Ellen Offner (she/her) is a consultant with a successful record in the U.S. and abroad in strategic planning, program and business development, and design and management of large, complex programs. Her clients included the University of Michigan, the Dana-Farber Cancer Center, USAID (JFK Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia), and Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paolo, Brazil. She was Vice President for Medicare Programs and Vice President for Product Development at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care., where she worked for two decades. She also has extensive experience as a member of boards of trustees of major nonprofit organizations. In addition to serving as a trustee of the Mark Morris Dance Group and chair of the organization’s Dance for PD advisory board, Ellen is on the Board of Overseers for the Celebrity Series in Boston. Ellen is a former trustee of Lasell College and former board chair of its affiliated Lasell Village in Newton, MA, an innovative continuing care retirement community on the Lasell College Campus that has won accolades, including from Atul Gawande in a recent New Yorker article. Previously she was on the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Board of Overseers and served on the boards of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and International Planned Parenthood Federation. Ellen has an A.B. from Barnard College in American Studies and an M.B.A. from Boston University with specialization in the public and nonprofit sector.
