Nicholas Cernovitch

Nicholas Cernovitch

Nicholas Cernovitch (or Nicola Cernovich, b. 1929) is a lighting designer for dance and theater. He began his career as a lighting designer in the 1950s, working for modern dancers and Off-Broadway productions. From 1958 to 1969, he worked for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. He was resident lighting designer for Les Grands Ballets Canadiens from 1970 until his retirement in 1995.
