Riley Soter (tenor) recently joined conductor Steven Fox and the Clarion Music Society: The Clarion Choir in Grammy nominated performance of Maximilian Steinberg’s Passion Week. The New York City based tenor regularly performs with the city’s premiere vocal ensembles, and recent performances include: Dido and Aeneas with the Mark Morris Dance Group; Bach Vespers at The Church of the Holy Trinity; L’dor Vador with the Park Avenue Synagogue and Cantor Azi Schwartz; Poulenc’s Gloria with the Paul Taylor Dance Company; Taneyev’s Oresteia, R. Strauss’ Der Liebe die Danae, and Meyerbeer’s Les Huguenots with Bard Summerscape. He has appeared in numerous performances with the New York Choral Artists and the New York Philharmonic, the New York Virtuoso Singers under conductor Harold Rosenbaum, Early Music New York, the American Symphony Orchestra, the Collegiate Chorale and Master Voices, and Music Before 1800.
