Sharyn Korey performed with Richmond Ballet before earning a degree in international studies from Middlebury College. An ABT certified instructor, she currently teaches ballet and creative movement at the Mark Morris Dance Center and is an adjunct instructor at Hofstra University. She is also the co-founder of NACHMO, an annual choreography festival open to all. You can often find her on the lawn in Sunset Park, where she teaches donation-based classes to children and teens as part of Sunset Park Dances, an outdoor studio she created with dancer Claire Wampler and bassist Steve Whipple.
