For teens (ages 15+) interested in learning more about careers in the arts, The School at the Dance Center offers select opportunities to engage as a volunteer behind-the-scenes. Students who would like to learn more about teaching practice can volunteer to assist in classes for young children at the Dance Center, gaining skills in class planning, classroom management, and activity demonstration. Students interested in arts administration can volunteer in the office for an internship through which they will gain skills in logistical planning, organization, and communication. Opportunities are first-come, first-serve and are subject to availability. Interested students should reach out to schooladmin@mmdg.org.
