Press Quotes

  • "...a swell of music and euphoria..."
    Washington Post
  • "Gloria” shows how Mr. Morris borrowed much of the spiritual language of earlier modern dance while roughing up the piety that can stick in the throats of a skeptical contemporary audience. It also shows his musicality and construction by movement motifs. Anyone can follow these patterns and intuit their significance: here humility and solidarity."
    New York Times
  • "Gloria is a passionate journey of struggle with the woes of life reaching toward the ecstasy of finding grace."
    Ballet Review
