Since 2001, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts has served as the company's midwest home. In collaboration with his prodigiously talented company, Morris's vivid and demanding style has brought more than 125 pieces to fruition. For the first time in its collaborative history with MMDG, the Krannert Center presents the company in an evening-length work: Henry Purcell's opera Dido and Aeneas, complete with live musical accompaniment by the MMDG Music Ensemble and the U of I Chamber Singers with Mark Morris conducting.
