MMDG makes its triumphant Music Center debut with the critically-acclaimed Mozart Dances, set to music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This evening-length dance, hailed by The New York Times as "a materpiece", offers a visually stimulating, elegant, and often tender display of movement and technique. The piece blends folk dances, balletic lifts, pose and ensemble sculptures in a way in which each dancer exudes the beauty and emotion of Mozart's masterpieces and Morris's skillful and innovative choreography.
Thirty Minute Lectures begin one hour prior to curtain and take place in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Grand Hall.
Single tickets go on sale to the public August 1st.
