We are committed to offering a range of payment and pricing options – from tiered tuition and full scholarships to payment plans – so that high-quality dance education is available to all students  – regardless of income.

Registration Notes:

• Classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. We recommend registering early to reserve your spot!
• Advance registration is required for all classes. 
• A minimum deposit or payment in full (see Payment Plan option details below) is due at the time of registration to reserve your child’s spot in class. 
• Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a calendar with your class dates.

TIERED TUITION – Choose What You Can Pay

We encourage you to choose the tier that reflects what you are able to pay. Families who are able to select Tier 3 (Full Price) help us ensure our programs remain accessible to all. This is an honor-based system as we trust our community to pay what they can. With your help, we can create a space where Dance is for Anybody.

Tier 3 | FULL PRICE 

Tier 3 covers all programming and operating costs, including but not limited to maintenance of our large column-free dance studios, staffing highly-trained teaching artists and musicians and administrative costs.

Tier 2 | FINANCIAL AID subsidized by 15%

Tier 2 reflects a modest reduction in tuition and does not fully cover operating costs, but intends to make participation more accessible.

Tier 1 | FINANCIAL AID subsidized by 30% 

Tier 1 reflects a more significant reduction in tuition and does not fully cover operating costs, but intends to make participation more accessible.

FULL SCHOLARSHIPS – NEED-BASED

We strive to accept every qualifying student who applies for our full need-based scholarships. We are committed to welcoming anyone who wants to dance with us. Qualifying students will receive a scholarship for one class per semester.

Applicants will be able to share their class, schedule and genre preferences in the application. We will work to place qualifying students in a class that meets their preferences as long as space allows.

A new application must be submitted for each enrollment – Fall and Spring Semesters, School-year and Summer Camps. 

Apply for a scholarship via our Scholarship Application between June 16 – August 21, 2026

Families will be notified of their Scholarship Status during the week of September 1. Should your student be accepted, they will enrolled in their desired class(es) during the week of September 7, 2026

PAYMENT PLANS

We Dance, Creative Dance, and Children and Teens classes: 

You have the option to pay in  2-installments per semester.

How it works:

• Pay a 50% deposit toward the semester tuition when you register.
• The second payment will be processed at the end of the 4-week registration period (Monday, October 12 for the Fall, Monday, March 1 for the Spring) 
• If there is a need, custom payment plans may be created on an individual basis in collaboration with the Education Team. Please email schooladmin@mmdg.org to inquire. 

Student and Junior Companies: Registration is required for the full year. You have the option to pay in full or in 10 monthly installments.

How it works:

• Pay a non-refundable 25% deposit toward the annual tuition to secure your place, following auditions on September 9 and 10.
• The remaining 9 payments will be auto-charged on the 15th of each month to the credit card on file in the Active Network registration software. 
• If there is a need, custom payment plans may be created on an individual basis in collaboration with the Education Team. Please email schooladmin@mmdg.org to inquire.

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY 

• Students may transfer or withdraw within the first 4-weeks of each semester and receive a refund or credit. Requests must be emailed to schooladmin@mmdg.org. Refunds cannot be issued after the registration period closes.
• Refunds will be issued less a $30 processing fee and the pro-rated cost of classes taken (whether attended or not).
• If there is a pricing difference as a result of a transfer, the balance due will automatically charged to the card on file.
