Mid-Winter Dance Camps
Brighten up your mid-winter break with music and dance! Mark Morris Dance Group and Brooklyn Music School have teamed up to bring kids ages 5 to 12 a unique interdisciplinary camp during NYC public schools’ 2025 mid-winter break.
Inspired by Pepperland, Mark Morris’ critically acclaimed work set to the iconic music of The Beatles, this camp invites young artists to dive into Morris’ choreography and use those concepts to create their own unique dance and music expressions.
With a mix of dance, music, and theater classes, campers will explore, create, and perform in a week brimming with energy and imagination.
The Music and Dance Experience unfolds in a dual-campus format, with mornings at Brooklyn Music School (126 St. Felix Street) and afternoons at the Mark Morris Dance Center (3 Lafayette Avenue).
At week’s end, campers will showcase their creativity in an informal performance for family and friends at the Brooklyn Music School Playhouse.
Open to children at all levels, with and without disabilities.
